In this photo, we can clearly see the incredible size of the building compared to surrounding structures such as the Trinity church pictured a little left of center in the bottom of the photograph. The buildings main exterior material is clearly the use of blue-tinted industrial glass. In this view we are set at ground level, looking up an incredible distance– almost like a razor blade piercing the sky. Let’s take a look at a couple of examples! The John Hancock Building provides some incredible views and perspectives, allowing for many examples of breathtaking photographs. In these two architectural blueprints, we’re able to see a 3-D model of the construction of the building as well as a floor plan of the 20th floor of the building– clearly displaying the office-type function.
